I sincerely hope the summer is treating you well! This past month has been crazy, and I want to tell you about it, but first things first...Here's where I'll be performing this month and next:
Casque Wines - Friday, July 19, 6-9 PM
I have been performing at this amazing venue for quite a few years now and always look forward to the opportunity. Their award-winning wines are beyond delicious! Generally there is a Food Truck on site to grab a quick bite as well. Reservations reccomended. Amazing wine, comfortable atmosphere, and decent music.
Prohibition Wine Lounge - Sat., July 20, 8-11 PM
I will likely be performig out on the super comfy patio of this Folsom hot-spot! Prohibition Wine Lounge boasts a really nice wine selection and a pretty delicious dinner menue as well! Killer Wine selection, great food, and "not so bad" live music.
House of Oliver - Friday, July 26, 7-11 PM
I have been performing regularly at House of Oliver for close to 5 years now and it has become one of my favorite all-time venues. The House of Oliver patio ambiance really does make for a stunning evening! Reservations highly reccomended. Killer wine, full bar, fantastic food menu, phenomenal customer service, and admissable live music.
Piatti - Friday, August 2, 7-9 PM
I have only performed here a couple of times, but I really enjoy the intimate atmosphere where I perform. If you are looking for delectable Italian cuisine, look no further! Enticing food, intimate atmosphere, and sufficient live entertainment.
The Outcome @ The Torch Club - Friday, August 16, 5:30-7:30 PM
Yup! The fellas and I will be back at the pound for pound best live music venue in Sacramento! No Cover!! Really, is there a better way to celebrate the end of another long work week?? Cruise on out the the Torch and hang with us!
Thank you once again for your amazing support! I'm working behind the scenes on a few things that I can't wait to fill you all in on! Stay tuned!!
Your music buddy,
P.s. For my 40th Birthday, my wife Davita surprised me with a quick trip to Seattle!! (NO KIDS!!) We went up the space needle, flew on a sea plane, threw axes, went on a Seattle Music Scene tour called "Stalking Seattle" (see the pic with me and Jimi above), went to a Mariners game, slept in, and actually got to sit down at a restaurant and enjoy a meal!
P.p.s. After we returned from Seattle, the entire Hedges family boarded planes to Boston, Philadelphia, and Dewey Beach, DE. We had a great vacation! We were even fortunate enough to bump into the Italian Stallion and Ivan Drago while in Philly! #Imustbreakyou
P.p.p.s. Netflix recommendation - Check out the documentary "The Dawn Wall". I did not think I was going to enjoy this nearly as much as I did. Two thumbs up!
P.p.p.p.s. Well...August is quickly approaching, which means both of my sons have birthdays. Liam will be 3 and Mason turns 1. Being a father is definitely the most challanging thing I have been a part of. Especially when you have a son pretending to be an ambulance (with siren sounds) on a plane for 5 hours... I believe fatherhood, especially for 2 boys, is pretty much summed up in this action shot below:
