Quinn Hedges is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist celebrated for his soulful, heartfelt music and candid, emotionally resonant lyrics.
A blues player at heart, he has also drawn deeply from folk, rock, and jazz influences. Born into a musical family in Delaware, Quinn began singing at an early age. He first studied trumpet and piano before discovering the guitar at 15. After moving to California to pursue music, he honed his songwriting and launched his performing career.
In 2006, he released his self-titled debut album, “Quinn Hedges”, followed by the acoustic “Without You” in 2010. In 2009, he formed The Quinn Hedges Band, releasing “Step Outside” in 2012. His 2016 collaboration with cousin John B Hedges, “Slightly South of Stormy Clouds”, stands as one of his most acclaimed works to date—mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Tim Sonnefeld and mastered by the legendary Bob Ludwig.
Recent releases include the self-produced holiday album “Night Divine” (2023) and the nostalgic “Summer in Dewey” (2024), a collaboration with John B Hedges and Mike Strickland that captures the spirit of growing up on the shores of Dewey Beach, Delaware.
A seasoned performer since 2003, Quinn has played clubs, theaters, wineries, and private events across the country and has opened for numerous national touring acts. He is a three-time semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for “Without You” (2013), “Forever More” (2016), and “Through Your Eyes” (2025).
Today, Quinn continues to write and perform regularly. He plays with the blues-infused Katie Knipp Band, the jam-oriented trio The Burnt Ends, and the acoustic duo Hedges & Gregory.
